Well,you can't 'on rails' defeat vercingetorix or a long gui....or 5 star all missions but yes,it is extremely straight forward 95% of the time.

Yea,I liked com/sab/rav the most for MOST fights.Damn Shaolongs open with quake which hurts(I equipped all str/mag boosting accessories lol) so opening with SEN/SEN/SEN was my savior..
I agree tho,other than that sentinel is not very useful.Equiping a com with a bunch of dam/mag res armlets works wonders :)
SEN/SEN/SEN against Shaolongs is perfect for opening and great for Ultima sponging imo.It works for me.Other than that....I would be lying :(

If COM/COM/COM with genji/kaiser or SEN/SEN/SEN with imperial/entite is 'complex' or confusing......wait until SAB/SYN/SAB rolls in......with all of it's 'complexity.
FF13 complex .......no,just rather easy and mundane.
The Story mode in the first was fairly bland,yes.The online was addictive and well done,often overlooked because of the aforementioned Story mode.

Those dragons: With white world tendency I think they fly off(it's been awhile lol
You can also kill the one that swoops above the bridges by sniping him from the towers(takes awhile but it works,probably 150 arrows or so.
You can also dash and grab the gear,die repeat but it's annoying because you only have time for one grab before you get toasted.If you stick to the lower far left you can avoid the fire and follow the cliff around to some hidden gear tho :)

Brainwashed is a pretty strong term and it doesn't fit the crime in this particular case.
For example,where I live there is only one sporting goods store and they are notorious for being overpriced and underpaid.A sporting goods store isn't necessarily an absolute necessity but if one needs a new piece of equipment one is at the mercy of said store.We know and accept it as do they.

Alot has changed,alot hasn't.
Personally,health regen is typically a sunday event and it takes time,never regens completely and....my constitution and body shields are impressive.
I kind of preferred KZ2's system and dislike insta-regen shields+health+god-like field medics....
Only cats should be afforded 9 lives and only statues survive head shots.
MAG made it workable as did KZ2,and I agree,the pace of the game must be considered.
